Gold Loans
What is the interest rate on gold loans?
Our interest rates vary depending on several factors, including the loan amount, the type and value of the item used as security, and the overall loan structure.
To receive the current interest rate and a personalised loan assessment, you’ll need to visit our Logan store in person. Our team will assess your item and explain all loan terms clearly before proceeding.
We pride ourselves on transparent lending with no hidden surprises, ensuring you fully understand the repayment process from the beginning.
What items can I use to get a loan?
We provide loans secured against a wide range of valuable items, primarily focusing on gold, silver, platinum, bullion, jewellery, and luxury valuables.
Common items used for security include:
- Gold, silver, and platinum jewellery
- Gold and silver bullion bars and coins
- Luxury watches
- High-value designer items
- Collectable coins and precious metal products
If you’re unsure whether your item is suitable, simply bring it into our store for a free assessment. Our team will evaluate the item and discuss the available loan options with you.
How do I make a loan repayment?
Loan repayment instructions are provided on your loan invoice and agreement paperwork.
Repayments can be made online, via bank transfer, or directly in-store. Please ensure you follow the payment instructions carefully and include your loan number so your payment can be processed correctly.
If you’re unsure about your repayment details, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to assist.
What if I can’t make a repayment?
If you’re experiencing difficulties making a repayment, it’s important to contact us as soon as possible.
Our team understands that circumstances can change, and in many cases we may be able to discuss available options or assist you before your loan becomes overdue.
Please call 1300 706 007 or visit our Logan store so we can help you directly.
What happens if I don’t make my repayments?
If you haven't made any repayments with 3 months the item held as security may be processed, refined, melted, or sold within days to recover the outstanding loan amount.
Due to the nature of the precious metals market and storage processes, overdue loan items are often handled quickly once a loan defaults. In many cases, items cannot be recovered once they have entered the refining or liquidation process.
If you believe you may miss a repayment, it is extremely important that you contact us immediately on 1300 706 007 so we can discuss possible options before further action is taken.
Do you perform credit checks?
No. Our loans are secured against the value of your item, meaning there are no credit checks required.
The loan amount is based primarily on the value, authenticity, and condition of the item being used as security.
What happens to my item during the loan?
Your item is securely stored by us for the duration of the loan agreement. All secured items are handled professionally and stored in a monitored and controlled environment.
Once the loan has been fully repaid, your item will be returned to you.
How much can I borrow?
Loan amounts vary depending on the item being used as security, its market value, and current precious metal prices.
In many cases, we can lend up to a percentage of the item’s assessed value. Visit our Logan store for a free assessment and same-day loan quote.
How many loans can you have at one given time?
There is no limit to the number of loans you can have with us at any one time. Multiple loans can be arranged, provided you are able to meet the required interest payments and comply with the terms of each loan agreement.
Do I need ID for a gold loan?
Yes. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all loan transactions.
This helps us comply with Australian Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) regulations while maintaining a safe and secure lending environment.
If you have any further questions about ordering with us, feel free to contact our support team. We're happy to help!
